Proposal

 Working title:

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup

Application:

The 3D models will be used as part of an advertisement, which will be shown on every day television.

Target Audience:

My advertisement will be aimed at children to adults but preferably aged between 5-18+, the social class will be aimed at B-middle class, C1-lower middle class, C2-skilled working class, and D-working class. I will be concentrating on how my advertisement will attract my target audience, I have chosen a product that is unisex which makes the designing process easier because I will be able to choose unisex colours.

Objects to be modelled:

  • Candy bar
  • robot
  • peanut butter jar
  • reese's butter cup
  • little girl

Visual Style:

The candy bar will be retro looking something similar like the classic American Hershey's chocolate bar, with a realistic look but as well as keeping the style  of the logo and text. I will be using the chocolate bar to held with an open wrapper but still able to make out the logo, the little girl be will holding it.

For the robot I would like it too look very futuristic something like you'd see in a sci-fi movie. I want every bit of the robot to look shiny and have a few bolts to give it definition. The robot will be hold a jar of peanut butter and act as though he is eating it. The robot will signify a teenager around the age of 17 years old.

The little girl will look look around the age of 5 years old so she will be wearing bright coloured clothing and perhaps have child like hair and a toy. The little girl will be holding a bar of Hershey's chocolate bar in her hand.

The reese's peanut butter cup will be the last item you see and will shown as what it would look like in real life, with the same yellow, brown and black logo and the same orange packaging.

Legal issues:

The legal issues I may come across is for example copy righted products and logos, in order to resolve this issue would be to get the companies consent to use the product and logo. If I wanted to air my advertisement on the television I will have to again get permission from the company before airing it as it could get sewed by the product owner.

Introduction

Hello fellow bloggers,

Im going to be using cinema 4D which is a software which allows you to create objects or imaginative worlds which looks fairly realistic the kind in which the creators of Toy Story would use.

So for my idea I will be creating an advertisement for the Hershey's Reece's Peanut Butter Cup. I will be researching the different adverts that have been created in the past for this product and I will be looking further more into the product by looking out when it was first introduced.
